I participated in the Venice International Art Fair with two of my paintings, exhibited in the heart of Venice. Seeing my work displayed in this extraordinary city was already a special experience, but the days I spent there gave me much more than I had expected.

Venice completely enchanted me. With its narrow streets, waterfronts, historic buildings and art present at every turn, it felt like a small jewel box of art in the heart of Europe.

During the exhibition, I had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people. I spoke with artists from different parts of the world and connected with curators as well. It meant a great deal to me that they could see my paintings in person and responded to my work with such warmth. Hearing that they connected with the distinctive artistic language I express through my paintings was especially rewarding.

Venice also had an unexpected encounter in store for me: completely by chance, I met Bogi Nagy, a Hungarian painter based in Germany. Later, we sat down together in St. Mark’s Square and talked at length about painting, art and the individual paths we are both following.

I returned home with incredible memories and a deeply positive feeling. This journey reminded me of how much art can offer beyond the artworks themselves: encounters, conversations and moments that remain with us long after the experience is over.
